Valuing Art as a Field of Study / Career

You know what really "grinds my gears?" (Family Guy reference)

The mindset some people have about art as a field of study / career not being difficult, important, or comparable to other intense fields of study. Sure, art takes talent, but it also takes a LOT of work, stress, learning, practicing, money, and more. It's hard work, period.

... but I love it, it can be fun, and that's why art is a big part of my life! =D
